Joe Orton double-bill at Greenwich Playhouse 12 July

CandyKing Productions and Celtic Kiss Productions presents The Ruffian on the Stair / The Erpingham Camp , a double bill by Joe Orton, at the Greenwich Playhouse, a fringe venue in south London from 12 July to 7 Aug 2011.

THE RUFFIAN ON THE STAIR tells the story of Mike and Joyce...and their uninvited lodger who is not all that he seems to be. Amidst revelations of incest and death this black comedy builds to a startling crescendo... THE ERPINGHAM CAMP is a riotous depiction of life in a holiday camp, suppressed by the demonic and evil camp ruler Erpingham. But would the English really rather have a cup of tea than stage a revolution?
