Juliet Stevenson and Sophie Thompson to star in Little Wars

The production will be able to download or watch on a live stream for one week in November.

A digital revival of Steven Carl McCasland's Little Wars will be filmed and available to download next month. Recorded in collaboration with the Union Theatre, the cast will include, audiences can watch the production online from 3 to 8 November.

Set in 1940s France, Little Wars sees six real-life literary and creative figureheads around a what-if dinner table. Writers including Agatha Christie and Gertrude Stein are brought together, but with the present threat of World War Two, tensions come to a boiling point.

Juliet Stevenson leads the cast, previously starring in The Doctor at the Almeida Theatre. Sophie Thompson will also star in Little Wars, recently appearing in Present Laughter at the Old Vic alongside Andrew Scott. The cast is completed by Linda Bassett, Debbie Chazen, Natasha Karp, Sarah Solemani.

The cast and creative team of Little Wars are raising money in aid of Women for Refugee Women.
