Kismet by ENO starring Michael Ball at Coliseum 25 June - 14 July 2007

Michael Ball will perform the role of Hajj/Poet in a new production Kismet by the English National Opera at the Coliseum Theatre, opening 27 June 2007, following previews from 25 June - running for 19 performances to 14 July 2007.

Robert Wright & George Forrest's Kismet is based on themes of Alexander Borodin and the play by Edward Knoblock, the book is by Charles Lederer & Luther Davies.

This is the first new West End production for almost 30 years.

It is directed by Gary Griffin and designed by Gary Griffin.

To meet the specific demands of the score with its mix of classical and Broadway styles, ENO has engaged two conductors, Richard Hickox & Simon Lee.
