The West End premiere of Lady Chatterley's Lover will play a limited engagement next month. D. H. Lawrence's novel has been adapted into a musical, with performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 18 and 19 June.

Lady Chatterley's Lover deals with emotional and physical relationships between the titular protagonist and her gardener. Published in 1928, D. H. Lawrence's story caused outrage in society, with the book eventually banned under the Obscene Publications Act.

The novel has been adapted by John Robinson, with direction by Sasha Regan and production design by Andrew Exeter. Georgia Lennon and Michael Pickering will star, also known as the singing duo One Trick Pony Off. Zoe Rogers, Jake Halsey-Jones, Sam Kipling and Emma Lindars are also cast.

Performances of Lady Chatterley's Lover will be filmed at the Shaftesbury Theatre, with audiences able to stream the production later in the year. Details on streaming Lady Chatterley's Lover are to be confirmed.

After Lady Chatterley's Lover, & Juliet will resume performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre from 24 Sept. 2021.
