"Little by Little" cancels remaining performances

LITTLE BY LITTLE has cancelled its remaining performances at the Arts Theatre due to poor ticket sales.

The UK and European première of LITTLE BY LITTLE, was to run for five performances only 25 July; 8 & 22 Aug 2004, but the performances on Sunday 8 & 22 Aug 2004 are now cancelled

Commenting on the closure, producers of the show said, "It is with regret that we have had to cancel the remaining two Sundays' performances of Little by Little. Lower than anticipated ticket sales were a factor in our decision, but various unforeseen practical problems also played a part. Customers with tickets have already been contacted by the Arts and refunds issued accordingly."

The show, which has music by Brad Ross, lyrics by Ellen Greenfield and Hal Hackaday, and book by Annette Jolles and Ellen Greenfield, featured Paul Spicer, Julie Atherton, Christine Holman and TV's Big Brother's evictee Marco Sabba

LITTLE BY LITTLE examines the ever-blurred boundaries between friendship and love. Just how attracted are we to those we call friends? Can friends ever be lovers? Lovers ever friends? Three young adults discover hidden depths to their seemingly straightforward relationships.

Produced by Neil Eckersley, directed by Benjamin Till with musical staging by Paul Spicer, sound by Marcus Wadland.
