LLOYD HUTCHINSON AND KIERAN LAGAN in STONES IN HIS POCKETS FROM 4TH FEB 02

Lloyd Hutchinson and Kieran Lagan will take the roles of Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn from Mon 4th February 2002 in Stones in his Pockets , at the Duke of York's Theatre. Sean Sloan and Louis Demsey, who are currently playing the roles for three weeks will have their last performance on 2nd Feb 02 and will then take the show on a world tour.

Lloyd Hutchinson has recently been in Pinter s "One for The Road" in Dublin, London and Broadway. Last year he was Petruchio in "The Taming of the Shrew" at the Royal Exchange. Other lead roles include in "Shopping and Fucking" at the Gielgud, in "The Beauty Queen of Leenane" Royal Court. His leading roles with the RSC include Thersites in "Troilus and Cressida" , as James Joyce in Stoppard's "Travesties" which transferred to the Savoy and Terry Hands production of "Tamberlaine Parts I and II".

This will be Kieran Lagan's second season as Jake in "Stones In His Pockets". He has toured extensively in Northern Ireland with Tinderbox Theatre Company.

Written by Marie Jones, the story examines what happens when a Hollywood film company arrives in a remote part of Ireland. The Two actors play a total of 15 characters between them!

Stones in his Pockets, which has won both the Evening Standard and Olivier Awards for 'Best Comedy', opened at the Tricycle Theatre, April 00, before transferring to the New Ambassadors in May 00 and then the Duke of York's Theatre in Aug 00 were it is currently taking bookings to 29th June 02.
