Lolly Adefope to make West End debut in 'Oh, Mary!'

Lolly Adefope is the next star to take on former First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln in Cole Escola's hit comedy Oh, Mary!, which continues in performances at the Trafalgar Theatre in the West End. She takes over on 28 September, running through 5 December.

Adefope, who has previously starred for one night only in Nassim Soleimanpour's experimental production ECHO, is a comedian and actress. She is known for appearing in TV shows such as* 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown* and Taskmaster, and has appeared in films like Saltburn and Wicked Little Letters.

The current cast stars Cole Escola as Mary Todd Lincoln, Giles Terera as Mary’s Husband, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher, Kate O'Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone and Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant.

Directed by Sam Pinkleton, Oh Mary!'s full creative team includes dots (Scenic Designer), Holly Pierson (Costume Designer), Cha See (Lighting Designer), Daniel Kluger (Sound Design and Music), Drew Levy (Sound Designer), Leah J. Loukas (Wig Designer), and David Dabbon (Arrangements).
