Loot by Joe Orton at Upstairs at the Gatehouse

Tower Theatre Company presents Loot, by Joe Orton, at the Upstairs at the Gatehouse, a fringe venue in Highgate, north London, from 16 to 20 Oct 2012.

Loot takes farce out of the bedroom and into the mourning room, as two young bank robbers seek to hide their loot in a coffin but first need to deal with the previous occupant, a mummified corpse. To add to their woes they must also fend off the attentions of a much-widowed convent girl on the hunt for husband number 8 and a manic inspector from the Metropolitan Water Board with a sadistic line in interrogation.
