Hiraeth Artistic Productions presents Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, directed by Mary Clare O'Neill, at the Upstairs at the Gatehouse, in north London, as part of the Camden Fringe, from 9 to 14 Aug 2011, and then Barons Court Theatre, in west London, from 20 Sep to 9 Oct 2011.

10th Century Scotland; a fearless warrior named Macbeth has devastated the attacking Norwegian and Irish armies and single-handedly secured his country's safety from invasion. A brief, chance encounter with three 'Weird Sisters' promises him the crown and glory of Scotland, and sets into motion a chain of devastating events. Will he kill his King to assume the throne? Or will he let fate take its course?
