MADONNA'S CO-STARS NAMED!!

Pop star Madonna, who will be making her West End stage debut in Up For Grabs , at the Wyndham's Theatre, on 23rd May 02, following previews from 9th May 02, and taking bookings to 13th July 02, will be joined by Michael Lerner, Megan Dodds, Sian Thomas, Debora Weston, Tom Irwin, Danny Pino and Sian Thomas

American actor Michael Lerner has extensive stage experience in Los Angeles and New York. He earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the film "Barton Fink" . His other film credits include "The Postman Always Rings Twice", "Godzilla" and "Celebrity".

Sian Thomas West End credits include "A Delicate Balance" at the Haymarket in 1997; "Richard III" at the Savoy in 1999; "Sleep With Me" at the NT in 1999; "House & Garden" at the NT in 2000; and "Feelegood" at the Garrick Theatre in 2001.

Megan Dodds�s TV credits include �Love in a Cold Climate� for the BBC and �Sword of Honour� for Channel 4, whilst her theatre credits including the premiere of Ben Elton�s play �Popcorn�.

Tom Irwin has performed in and directed numerous Steppenwolf Theatre productions and his Broadway credits include �My Thing of Love�.

Danny Pino�s US TV credits include Steve Buscemi�s �Baseball Wives�.

Debora Weston�s London theatre credits are roles in �The Seven Year Itch�, �Stop Kiss� and �Popcorn� and her films include Neil LaButes� �Possession� and Phil Noyce�s �Patriot Games�.

A comedy by Australian playwright David Williamson, it explores the extent to which an art dealer will go to get a sale, and the moral hurdles which she must overcome along the way. Simone(played by Madonna) is an art dealer who is trying to crack into a new, wealthier market. She is given the opportunity to sell a Brett Whitely painting, and has guaranteed the artist a minimum of 2 million Dollars for the sale. It is not worth that much, and her relationship and apartment are under threat if she fails to find a buyer. Simone conducts a private auction between three interested buyers, and has to pull strings along the way to get the bids rolling.
