‘Magic Mike Live’ to reopen in London in 2021
Performances will recommence at the London Hippodrome from 21 May.
After Magic Mike Live performances were suspended due to the global pandemic, the production will return to London. Magic Mike Live will reopen at the London Hippodrome for an open-ended run from 21 May.
On the show's return, executive producer Vincent Marini said: "For the last eight months, the team behind Magic Mike Live has been enthusiastically planning the show's return to the London stage... While it has been a creative challenge to make changes to the show we all love so much, we believe that the finished product... will bring a great deal of joy to London at a time when it is sorely needed."
Based on the hit movie series of the same name, Magic Mike Live allows audiences to live as if they're in the film. The production includes dance and acrobatic sets, with new routines and songs staged in a Covid-safe environment.
The cast includes Daniel Blessing, Courtenay Brady, Jake Brewer, Harry Carter, Ellie Clayton, Hannah Cleeve, Matt Jordan, Charlie Knight, Mark Lace, Sophie Linder-Lee, Jack Manley, David Morgan, Theo Oloyade, Ross Sands, Josie Scamell, Manny Tsakanika and Aaron Witter.
