"Mamma Mia!" cast changes from 7 March 2005

Mamma Mia! has announced cast changes from 7 March 2005 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Joining the show are: Sophia Ragavelas (Sophie Sheridan), Eugene McCoy (Eddie), Fergus March (Sky), Martin Ball (Harry Bright), John Alastair (Bill Austin), Ben Heathcote, (Pepper), Hayley Doyle (Ali), Nikki Davis-Jones (Lisa).

The musical will continue to feature Vivien Parry (Donna Sheridan), Kim Ismay (Tanya), Simon Slater (Sam Carmichael), Lara Mulcahy (Rosie). (Lucy Harris plays 'Donna Sheridan' at certain performances.)

Based on the songs of ABBA, Mamma Mia! opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6th April 1999, following previews from 23rd March 1999, to rave reviews and smash business. It transferred to the Prince of Wales theatre on 3 June 2004. It is currently taking bookings to 24 Sep 2005, but from Mon 14 March tickets will go on sale for performances to April 2006

The show has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.

This original musical, which is a story of a mother and daughter set on the eve of the daughter's wedding, has a book by Catherine Johnson.

It is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

It is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.
