Mamma Mia! now booking to 24 October 2015 at Novello

Mamma Mia! has extended its booking period - tickets are now on sale to 24 October 2015 at the Novello Theatre.

Based on the songs of ABBA, Mamma Mia! opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6 April 1999, following previews from 23 March 1999. It transferred to the Prince of Wales theatre on 3 June 2004 to 1 September 2012, and transferred once more, this time to the Novello Theatre, from 6 September 2012.

Worldwide, Mamma Mia! has been seen by more than 54 million people in 38 productions in 14 different languages grossing more than $2 billion at the box office.

A film adaptation of the stage show was released in 2008 titled "Mamma Mia! The Movie".

A story of a mother and daughter set on the eve of the daughter's wedding, the musical has music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and book by Catherine Johnson.

The show is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

It is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast and directed by Phyllida Lloyd.
