Miss Julie by Elevate at Greenwich Playhouse 24 Aug

Elevate Theatre Company presents Miss Julie, by August Strindberg in an version by Frank McGuinness, at Greenwich Playhouse, in south London, from 24 Aug to 19 Sep 2010.

It is directed by Oliver Baird.

It is Midsummer's Eve in the kitchen of the Count where his daughter Julie and his valet Jean begin a dangerous game of seemingly innocent flirtation. After sleeping together the subsequent conflict between sexual passion and social position leads to Julie's suicide.
