The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare is to transfer to the Haymarket Theatre from 27th Jul to 22nd Aug 02 (Public booking is expected to open 30th Apr 02)

Directed by Gregory Doran, this production is a transfer from Stratford-upon-Avon.

The drama features Nicholas le Prevost and Harriet Walter.

Nicholas le Prevost joins the cast direct from the current production of "My Fair Lady" at the Drury Lane Theatre. Other recent work includes "Hedda Gabler"(Chichester), "Mind Millie For Me" (Haymarket), "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" (National).

Harriet Walter's recent work includes "Life x3" (National / Old Vic), and "The Royal Family" (Haymarket).

The fiercely independent characters of Beatrice and Benedick outwardly ridicule and publicly humiliate each other, but their true passion and sexual desire is dramatically revealed when they are thrown together to defend a friend's and family's honour.
