New cast for Mamma Mia! at the Novello from 9 Jun 2014

The long running West End production of Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre has announced new cast members joining the musical from Mon 9 June 2014.

Rebecca Lock will join the cast as Rosie. Her previous West End credits include 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Avenue Q' and 'Mary Poppins'. She will be joined by Alasdair Harvey ('We Will Rock You', 'Sunday in the Park With George') as Harry, Charles Daish ('A Streetcar Named Desire' - Donmar) as Bill, Alice Stoke as Sophie Sheridan and Lloyd Green as Sky.

Also joining the cast from 9 June will be Rosanna Bates as Ali, Brodie McBride as Lisa, James Alexander Gibbs as Pepper and James Alan-Evans as Eddie.

Dianne Pilkington will continue to star as Donna Sheridan, with Shona White playing the role at certain performances. Kim Ismay will continue to play Tanya, along with Richard Trinder as Sam.

Mamma Mia! originally opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6 April 1999, before transferring to the Prince of Wales Theatre in 2004. The musical re-opened at the Novello Theatre in Sept 2012 where it is currently booking until 25 Apr 2015.

The musical features music & lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, book by Catherine Johnson, direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast.
