Red Ladder Theatre Company and DumbWise present the world premiere of Nicobobinus at the Lost Theatre in Stockwell from 11 December 2014 to 3 January 2015 with an official opening on 12 December 2014.

Adapted from Monty Python star Terry Jones' original children's novel, this is a brand new musical theatre adventure aimed at families. Directed by John Ward alongside a cast of five actor-musicians, this adaptation uses original songs, instrumental acrobatics, singing, excitement and Monty Python-esque wit.

"When Nicobobinus is magically turned to gold, he and his wild best friend Rosie embark on a musical voyage to the Land of Dragons to find the cure. On the way, their friendship, humanity and overall brilliantness is put to the test as they are propelled into a non-stop world of fantasy and mayhem."

Nicobobinus features original music by Eilidh deBonnaire, who also musically directs the production.

Red Ladder Theatre Company describes itself as a "radical theatre company with 46 years of history". DumbWise is an actor-musician company who is committed to adapting and creating new musicals of all shapes and sizes. Following the show in London, the production will tour nationally in spring 2015.
