Nikki Bentley and Noel Sullivan to star in ‘Starting Here, Starting Now’

Gina Murray will also appear in Maltby and Shire's relationship-themed revue.

Richard Maltby, Jr and David Shire's musical revue Starting Here, Starting Now will be revived for a limited summer run. Starting Here, Starting Now is at Waterloo East Theatre from 29 June - 18 July, and the full cast has been named.

First performed in 1976, Starting Here, Starting Now sees three individuals try to find love in a maze of modern relationships. Each song tends to be a story song, with each musical number exploring a separate theme.

The cast stars Nikki Bentley, who previously played Elphaba for six months in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. Noel Sullivan is also cast, best known for taking over the role of Dewey Finn in School of Rock, with Gina Murray completing the lineup.

Starting Here, Starting Now is directed by Gerald Armin, with musical direction by Inga Davis-Rutter. Speaking about the production, Armin said: "At times I felt were never going to open again, but we have survived, and I can't wait to welcome audiences through our doors again as we bring back live theatre to the heart of Waterloo!"

Starting Here, Starting Now is at Waterloo East Theatre from 29 June - 18 July.
