Actress Nina Sosanya will appear in the west End production of Frozen, which runs a Theatre Royal Haymarket next year.

Set in England, Frozen is about the search of a 10-year-old girl Rhona, who goes missing, and follows her mother, and kidnapper, in the year that follows her disappearance.  It premiered at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1998 and ran at the Cottesloe Theatre at the National in 2002, and on Broadway in 2004.

Nina Sosanya, who will play Agnetha in Bryony Lavery's play, is known for her role as Platonov and Ivanov at the National Theatre, The Vote and Privacy at the Donmar Warehouse and Apologia at the Bush Theatre.

Frozen will also star Suranne Jones, who is currently appearing as the title character in Mike Bartlett's BBC series Doctor Foster, and Olivier Award-nominated actor Jason Watkins.

It runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 9th February until 5th May.

Frozen will be directed by Jonathan Munby, who is set to direct Ian McKellen in a production of King Lear at Chichester Festival Theatre. His previous work includes The Merchant of Venice, Antony and Cleopatra (Shakespeare's Globe), and Twelfth Night (Sheffield Theatres).
