Old Vic announce New Season Announced

The Old Vic Theatre has announced three new productions, marking the seventh season of work under Kevin Spacey's tenure as Artistic Director.

DESIGN FOR LIVING

Opens 15 Sep 2010, following previews from 3 Sep - running to 27 Nov 2010. Directed by Anthony Page, starring Tom Burke, Lisa Dillon, Andrew Scott. Co produced with Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer. Three egotistical, beguiling and self-absorbed characters - Gilda, Otto, and Leo - challenge the moral boundaries of relationships.

FLEA IN HER EAR
by Georges Feydeau, translation by John Mortimer.
Opens 14 Dec 2010, following previews from 4 Dec - running to 5 March 2011. Directed by Richard Eyre, starring Tom Hollander, Lisa Dillon. Co produced with Sonia Friedman Productions. When Raymonde suspects her husband Victor of infidelity, she enlists the help of a friend to set a trap resulting in mistaken identities, bruised egos and comic disaster.

CAUSE CELEBRE

Opens 29 March 2011, following previews from 17 March - running to 11 June 2011. Directed by Thea Sharrock. Based on the true story of Alma Rattenbury who went on trial with her 18-year-old lover for the murder of her husband. Condemned by the public more for her seduction of a young boy than for any involvement she may have had in her husband's death, Alma's fate is left in the hands of the socially and sexually repressed jury forewoman, Edith.
