Olivier Awards announces 2024 date and venue

The highly anticipated awards event showcases London and West End theatre in a huge variety of categories, ranging from Best New Play to Best Set Designer.

The Olivier Awards 2024 will be held on Sunday 14 April at the Royal Albert Hall.

Established in 1976 and organised by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), this annual event recognises and celebrates the London and West End theatre scene.

To be considered for the prestigious stage honours, productions must perform in the eligibility period from 15 February 2023 to 27 February 2024. They can be from across all main theatre categories, including opera, dance, and family.

The nominations for the Olivier Awards 2024 will be unveiled on Tuesday 12 March. Following the announcement, a special Nominees Celebration will be held later in the month, with the exact date yet to be confirmed. This gathering will honour the artists and productions that have been chosen as nominees.

Oklahoma!, My Neighbour Totoro, and Newsies were amongst the winners of last years ceremony, which also took place at the Royal Albert Hall.
