‘Only Fools and Horses: The Musical’ to close in the West End

The British musical will have played over 1,000 performances at the time of closing.

The Only Fools and Horses musical is based on the hit British sitcom of the same name. The musical follows Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad, and the rest of the Trotters as they celebrate the best of Cockney London life.

In a review on London Theatre, our critic said: “This is one of those scrappy, character-based book musicals of the 50s and 60s, with a score that is rooted as much in music hall as it is in musicals.”

At the time of closing, Only Fools and Horses: The Musical will have played over 1,000 performances — the longest-running production at Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Only Fools and Horses: The Musical stars Paul Whitehouse as Grandad, Tom Bennett as Del Boy, Ryan Hutton as Rodney, Ashleigh Gray, as Raquel, Nicola Munns as Marlene and Cassandra, Craig Berry as Boycie, Lee VG as Trigger, Adrian Irvine as Denzil, Danny Bayne as Mickey Pearce and Danny Driscoll, and Andrew Bryant as Mike The Barman and Tony Driscoll.

Caroline Jay Ranger directs and choreographs. The show features set and costume design by Liz Ascroft, lighting design by Richard G Jones, and sound design by Rory Madden.
