Great Expectations, Depicts Pip's progress through the hazards of Victorian society and his encounters with such memorable characters as Magwitch, the escaped convict, Miss Havisham, the eccentric spinster, who always wears her wedding dress, and Estella, with whom Pip unwisely falls in love.
