Pacific Overtures adds extra to weeks to run

The musical Pacific Overtures ,which opens on 30 June 03,following previews from 20 June 03, has added an extra 2 weeks to its run at the Donmar Warehouse to 6 Sep 03.

This show has music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by John Weidman. It is directed by Gary Griffin , designed by Daniel Ostling, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and costumes by Maria Blumenfield.

Pacific Overtures will feature: Jerome Pradon, Richard Henders, Togo Igawa, Cornell John, Teddy Kempner, Ian McLarnon.

Written in 1976 musical which traces the history of Japan from the first contact with America (via Commodore Matthew Perry) through the modern age.
