'Paranormal Activity' tickets now available through January 2027
The show, which is also open on Broadway, follows couple James and Lou as they move from Chicago to London to build a new life — only to discover that it's people, rather than places, that can be haunted.
Paranormal Activity, which has recently returned to the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End, has extended performances at the venue for a fifth time. The horror play will now run through 2 January 2027.
The show, which is also open on Broadway, follows couple James and Lou as they move from Chicago to London to build a new life — only to discover that it's people, rather than places, that can be haunted. The new story is inspired by the screen horror phenomenon Paranormal Activity.
The show is directed by Punchdrunk’s Founder and Artistic Director Felix Barrett and written by playwright Levi Holloway.
The cast includes Ty Fanning (Othello Broadway) as ‘James’, Ami Okumura Jones (My Neighbour Totoro, Hostage) as ‘Lou’, Kirsty Bushell (Motherland, King Lear) as ‘Etheline Cotgrave’, and Pippa Winslow as ‘Carolanne’, who returns to the part following her runs at Leeds Playhouse and in the first West End season.
In a review for LondonTheatre.co.uk, our critic said: "You want extended blackouts! Loud noises! Blood! This stage version, premiered in 2024 in Leeds prior to various stints in the US, delivers the goods on that score and more in its tale of a young couple newly relocated from Chicago to London, who, on this evidence, have taken their inner demons with them."
The creative team also includes Fly Davis as Set and Costume Designer, Illusions by Chris Fisher, Anna Watson as Lighting Designer, Gareth Fry as Sound Designer, and Video Design by Luke Halls.
