Peter Pan moves to The O2 for Christmas

The new production of JM Barrie's Peter Pan, which finishes a run in a specially designed tent in Kensington Gardens, on Sunday 13 Sep 2009, will move to The O2, opening 1 Dec 2009 - running to 10 Jan 2010.

It will be performed at The O2, in a purpose-built pavilion in Meridian Gardens, which will seat an audience of 1,350.

The production will include a 360-degree projected scenic design, which will bring all the magical aspects of Neverland to life.

It is adapted by Tanya Ronder, and directed by Ben Harrison with designs by William Dudley.

The cast includes Ciaran Kellgren (Peter Pan), Abby Ford (Wendy Darling), Jonathan Hyde ('Captain Hook/Mr Darling), Karen Ascoe (Mrs Darling)', Arthur Wilson (John Darling), David Poynor (Michael Darling)'.

Peter Pan at The O2 will incorporate changes to the production to be seen at the San Francisco opening next May at the start of a 20-month US tour. A second production will open in New Zealand in January 2011 at the start of a Far Eastern tour.
