Pinter double bill at Comedy from 15 Jan 2008

A double bill of Harold Pinter's plays, The Lover & The Collection, opens at the Comedy Theatre, 29 Jan 2008, following previews from 15 Jan - booking to 3 May 2008

THE LOVER stars Tara Fitzgerald (Sarah), Richard Coyle (Richard); and THE COLLECTION stars Richard Coyle (James), Tara Fitzgerald (Stella) , Charlie Cox (Bill), Timothy West (Harry).

It is directed by Jamie Lloyd, designed by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Ben and Max Ringham, and produced by Ambassador Theatre Group / Tulchin/Bartner Sweet Pea Productions.

THE LOVER: Behind closed suburban doors, a couple's darkest desires are unlocked, unzipped and undressed. The Lover stars Tara Fitzgerald as Sarah and Richard Coyle as Richard.

THE COLLECTION: is an explosive comedy laced with danger and adultery. Two couples fall victim to suspicion and jealousy when their sexual power games stifle the truth of one lost night in a hotel room in Leeds.

Richard Coyle's London stage credits work include "Don Carlos" at the Gielgud in 2005; "After Miss Julie" at Donmar Warehouse in 2003; "The York Realist" at the Royal Court & Strand Theatres in 2002; "Proof" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002. He is known to many for his role as Jeff Murdoch in the BBC comedy series "Coupling".

Timothy West's London stage credits include "The Old Country" at the Trafalgar Studios 1 in 2006; "King Lear" at the Old Vic in 2003;"Luther" at the Olivier, NT in 2001; "The Birthday Party" at the Piccadilly in 1999; "Henry IV Parts 1 & 2 at the Old Vic in 1997; "Twelve Angry Men" at the Comdy in 1996.

Tara FitzGerald London stage credits include "And Then There Were None" at the Gielgud in 2005 and "Antigone"at the Old Vic in 1999. Her tv credits include "The Virgin Queen", "Waking the Dead", and the BBC's adaptation of "Jane Eyre".

Charlie Cox is perhaps best known for his most recent film role in STARDUST opposite Michelle Pfeiffer.
