PRODUCTIONS CONFIRMED AS OPENING AT THE NEW AMBASSADORS THEATRE NEXT YEAR

The following productions are now all confirmed as opening at the New Ambassadors next year....

Berkoff's Women, by Steven Berkoff, will play for 5 days from 5th to 10th Feb 01. This one-woman show starring Linda Marlowe includes a combination of tragic and comic scenes from several Berkoff's plays.

The World premiere of Conor McPherson's Port Authority opens 19th Feb 01, following previews from 15th Feb 01, for a limited run to 15th Mar 01. The play explores how three different generations of men face up to the responsibility of love. Conor McPherson's previous plays include The Weir, which has enjoyed success in both London and New York in recent years.

George Elliot's Mill on the Floss, adapted by Helen Edmundson, runs from 3rd Apr 01 to 5th May 01. It is directed by Nancy Meckler and Polly Teale. The play tells the story of Maggie Tulliver's struggle against the conventions of Victorian society.
