Romola Garai to return to Almeida Theatre in 'A Doll's House'
Romola Garai was recently double nominated in the same category at the Olivier Awards for the Roald Dahl drama Giant and Eline Arbo's adaptation of memoir The Years.
Romola Garai will return to the Almeida Theatre following her Olivier Award-winning turn in The Years for a new version of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House.
Anya Reiss's version of Ibsen's tale about Nora, a married woman confined by her domestic life, will be directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins, whose previous credits include The Tragedy of King Richard the Second and Ghosts.

This new version of A Doll's House forms part of artistic director Rupert Goold’s final season at the venue. Performances will run from 31 March – Saturday 16 May, 2026.
