Royal Shakespeare Company at The Noel Coward Theatre

The Royal Shakespeare Company transfers Julius Caesar and Much Ado About Nothing from Stratford-Upon Avon to London's Noel Coward Theatre for straight runs, back to back from late Aug through to Oct 2012 (dates to be announced), as part of the World Shakespeare Festival. (Public Booking opens in March).

Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare, directed by Gregory Doran, designed by Michael Vale, sound by Jonathan Ruddick, lighting by Vince Herbert, music by Akintayo Akinbode, fight direction by Kev McCurdy, produced by Royal Shakespeare Company. Cast includes Adjoa Andoh, Ray Fearon, Paterson Joseph, Jeffery Kissoon and Joseph Mydell. The dictator must be assassinated. But who will replace him?

Much Ado About Nothing, by William Shakespeare, directed by Iqbal Khan, cast includes Meera Syal (Beatrice). Shakespeare's unsettling comedy of love and deceit is given an Indian setting.
