Rules For Living cast includes Stephen Mangan

The cast includes Stephen Mangan, Deborah Findlay, Miles Jupp and Maggie Service. The play, described as a dark comedy, is directed by Marianne Elliott, who is an Associate Director at the National Theatre.

Synopsis: "Everyone creates their own coping strategies or rules for living. But what happens when an extended family gathers in the kitchen for a traditional Christmas and they each follow those rules, rigidly? As long-held mechanisms for survival are laid bare, even Mum, who's been preparing this lunch since last January, becomes embroiled. Long-held rivalries and resentments will out. Accusations fly, relationships deconstruct, the rules take over."

Stephen Mangan performed in the West End earlier this year as Bertie Wooster in 'Jeeves And Wooster In Perfect Nonsense' at the Duke of York's Theatre, and Miles Jupp can currently be seen at the same venue in 'Neville's Island', until 3 January 2015.

The creative team behind the production includes Chloe Lamford for set design, Neil Austin for lighting and Ian Dickinson for sound.
