Sam Pinkleton to direct Josh Sharp's 'ta-da!'

Josh Sharp's new show explores themes of identity and mortality, and draws from experiences in his own life.

Sam Pinkleton (Oh, Mary!) will direct the UK debut of Josh Sharp’s solo show ta-da! at Soho Theatre next year. Performances begin on 9 February 2026, running through 28 February.

Sharp's new show explores themes of identity and mortality, and draws from experiences in his own life. The actor, writer and comedian's screen work includes Search Party, The Opposition with Jordan Klepper, The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show, 2 Dope Queens and This Week at the Comedy Cellar.

Pinkleton is currently directing the West End transfer of Cole Escola's comedy Oh, Mary!.

The production’s creative team includes set design by Meredith Ries, lighting by Cha See, co-video design by Stivo Arnoczy, magic by Skylar Fox, and incidental music by Daniel Kluger.
