SKA Musical "The Big Life" transfers to West End's Apollo Theatre from 11 May 2005

The Big Life, a SKA musical, transfers from the Theatre Royal Stratford to the West End's Apollo Theatre, opening 23 May 2005, following previews from 11 May, and booking to 5 Nov 2005.

It is directed by Clint Dyer, designed by Jenny Tiramani , lighting by Gerry Jenkinson, choreography Jason Pennycooke, sound by Gareth Owen.

On the Windrush over from the Caribbean to England, a pact is made by a group of men not to get involved with women for three years whilst they 'institute a regime of work and betterment'. Each man's resolve is tested as one by one they fall prey to Cupid's arrow.
