Snow Spider by Io Theatre at Tristan Bates Theatre

Io Theatre Company and Ovalhouse presents The Snow Spider, at the Tristan Bates Theatre, in Covent Garden, central London, from 6 to 10 Jan 2014.

Seven actors perform all of the original score live and between them play nearly 30 characters, whilst recreating the wildness of the Welsh landscape through sound and movement. The combination of physical theatre and music.

Everything changes on Gwyn Griffiths' ninth birthday, when five strange gifts unlock the door to a series of exciting discoveries. Gwyn is drawn into a dangerous adventure and must confront powerful forces from the past if he is to come to terms with his own future - but he has the help of Arianwen, a silver spider from another world...
