N1 Theatre Company presents Strange Orchestra , by Rodney Ackland, at the Courtyard Theatre Studio, a fringe venue in Hoxton, north London, from 18 to 26 May 2010.

Vera - an amazingly Bohemian creature who drifts aimlessly about in pyjamas and untidiness - presides over a ramshackle household of penniless artists living on top of each other in an ecstasy of dirt and discomfort. The chaos of their lives as they love, hate, attempt suicide, write novels, play the ukulele, and party is threatened by the arrival of Peter, a young artist with a purpose of his own.
