Suchet in Long Day's Journey Into Night - 2 April 2012

David Suchet stars as 'James Tyrone' in Long Day's Journey Into Night, by Eugene O'Neill, at the Apollo Theatre, from 2 April 2012, booking to 18 Aug 2012.

(Before its West End run at the Apollo, the play will be at the Richmond Theatre, in south London from 22 Feb to 3 March 2012)

It is directed by Anthony Page, designed by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Mark Henderson, sound by Gareth Owen.

Set in 1912. Following the Tyrone family through a mesmerising day and night, as they battle their demons, their pasts, and one another the play depicts the struggle for survival of each family member as they threaten to drift further into oblivion.

David Suchet is most famous for his TV role as Agatha Christie's 'Poirot'. His London stage credits include "All My Sons" at the Apollo in 2010; "Complicit" at the Old Vic in 2009; "The Last Confession" at the Haymarket in 2007; "Once in a Lifetime" at the Olivier, NT in 2005; "Man and Boy" at the Duchess in 2005;"Amadeus" at the Old Vic in 1998;"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" at the Aldwych in 1997; "What a Performance" at the Queens in 1994.
