Susannah Harker & Stephen Ballantyne to replace Kristin Scott Thomas & Douglas Hodge

Susannah Harker & Stephen Ballantyne are to replace Kristin Scott Thomas & Douglas Hodge from 20 May 03 in Three Sisters, at the Playhouse theatre.

Susannah Harker's (Masha) London stage credits include "Racing Demon" at the National Theatre in 1994, and most recently "Little Black Book" at the Riverside Studios.

Stephen Ballantyne's (Andrei) London stage credits include "Albert Speer" and "The Merchant of Venice" at the National Theatre in 2000.

The play continues to feature Kate Burton (Olga), Madeleine Worrall (Irina).

Written by Anton Chekhov, in a new version by Christopher Hampton, the show is currently booking to 29 June 03

It is directed by Michael Blakemore, with set design by Robin Don, lighting by Mark Henderson and costumes by John Bright. It is produced by the Ambassador Theatre Group, Elizabeth I McCann and Matthew Mitchell.
