Sweet Charity confirmed at Menier Chocolate Factory from 21 Nov 2009 starring Tamzin Outhwaite

It is now confirmed that Sweet Charity, will open at the Off West End Fringe Venue, Menier Chocolate Factory , on 2 Dec 2009, following previews from 21 Nov - running to 7 March 2010.

Public booking open at noon on Thursday 17 Sep 2009

The cast includes Tamzin Outhwaite (Charity Hope Valentine), Josefina Gabrielle, Tiffany Graves, Paul J. Medford, Ebony Molina, Mark Umbers.

Sweet Charity has book by Neil Simon, music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Field.

It is directed by Matthew White , designed by Tim Shortall, lighting by David Howe, choreography by Stephen Mear, sound by Gareth Owen. Musical supervision and direction by Nigel Lilley, orchestrations by Chris Walker.

Sweet Charity follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Charity Hope Valentine, a woman who always gives her heart and her dreams to the wrong man. Cy Coleman's score features such favourite hits as Hey, Big Spender; If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm of Life.
