Tanzi Libre by Claire Luckham at Southwark Playhouse

Cast announced for Tanzi Libre, by Claire Luckham, the first production at the Southwark Playhouse's new venue, from 15 May to 22 June 2013. The fringe theatre, in south London now has two studio spaces called 'The Large' and 'The Little'. This play takes place in 'The Large'.

Directed Ellie Jones, cast includes Meryl Fernandes (Platinum Sue), Patricia Gannon (Tanzi's Mum), Roger Griffiths (Tanzi's Dad), Olivia Onyehara (Tanzi), Kazeem Tosin Amore (Dean Rebel), Mark Rice-Oxley (Ref)

Designed by Martin Thomas and lighting by Tim Mascall.

In a South London wrestling ring, Tanzi and her love interest, Dean Rebel, have more than just their titles to fight for when they're pitted against each other for the 'fight of the decade'. Following Tanzi's life from the moment she was born until she falls in love, discovers the realities of the wrestling world and invents her signature move, the deadly Venus Flytrap.

In the 'The Little' space Juana In A Million by Vicky Araico Casas and Nir Paldi, from 22 May to 15 June 2013. One-woman show exploring true stories of immigrants to the UK.
