Terror 2010 Death and Resurrection Southwark Playhouse

The Sticking Place and Seabright Productions presents Terror 2010 Death and Resurrection, four short plays that explore the theatre of horror, at the Southwark Playhouse, in south London, from 12 to 31 Oct 2010.

Three World Premieres -

Country by April De Angelis, directed by Hannah Eidinow. Two old friends, one supporting the other in her bereavement as her husband has died. But doesn't he live on in the memory, and in the things he did and may yet do? Something is stirring in the peaceful seclusion of the country and old friendships die hard.

THE EXCLUSION ZONE Written and directed by Mark Ravenhill. A couple meet online and venture into the countryside for a romantic rendezvous, talking about seeing a horror film upon their return to the city. Real-life horror soon descends as fiction and reality collide and their inhibitions unravel.

THE UNIMAGINABLE By Neil LaBute, directed by Jason Lawson. A voice speaks from the darkness, challenging our perceptions of adult responsibility amidst the myriad dangers that the modern world presents to our children.

One Revival -

REANIMATOR by William Ewart, adapted from the short stories of HP Lovecraft Directed by Adam Meggido. A medical student pursues ghoulish experiments in the dark underbelly of early 20th century America.
