The Book of Mormon extends to 23 Aug 2014

The Book Of Mormon has extended its booking period by another two months to 23 Aug 2014 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

The show opened 21 Mar 2013, following previews from 25 Feb to mainly good notices from the popular press: "Cleverly written...enormously enjoyable" (Londontheatre.co.uk); "Decadent and self-indulgent musical" (Telegraph); "mildly amusing" (Guardian); "Loved it" (Independent).

The show has book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. It is directed by Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, designed by Scott Pask, lighting by Brian MacDevitt, choreography by Casey Nicholaw, costumes by Ann Roth, sound by Brian Ronan. The producers are Anne Garefino, Scott Rudin and Sonia Friedman Productions.

Cast currently includes Gavin Creel (Elder Price) and Jared Gertner (Elder Cunningham).

The comedy musical, which has been playing to sold out houses in New York since Feb 2011, follows a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that's about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.
