DogOrange presents Anton Chekov's The Cherry Orchard, adapted by Brendan Murray and directed by Matthew Parker, beginning previews on 15 Jul 2014, with an official opening set for 18 Jul and continuing its limited engagement through to 02 Aug 2014 at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre, in Brockley, south-east London.
Synopsis: 'Madame Ranyevskaya returns to save the family estate she has loved throughout her life. Haunted by memories of lost happiness, she is unable to accept help; as though to face the realities of the present would betray her longing for the past. Through inaction, she risks losing the thing she holds most precious, her Cherry Orchard.'
The Cherry Orchard features scenic design by Rachel Ryan, lighting design by Tom Kitney, costumes by Jane Rankin, and sound design by Will Tonna.
