Cut Across Productions will present the London return of The Curing Room, by David Ian Lee which will run at The Vaults in Waterloo from 4 to 29 May 2016.

Directed by Joao de Sousa, the production will star Rupert Elmes, Tom Holloway, Matt Houston, John Hoye, Harvey Robinson, Marlon Solomon and John Last.

Originally written and developed in New York with a series of workshops and public readings, The Curing Room marked its inaugural production in Edinburgh.

"Spring 1944 - seven Soviet soldiers have been captured by the Nazis, stripped naked and abandoned in the locked empty cellar of a monastery in southern Poland. Deprived of all resources and ties to the world they knew, the prisoners must redefine their concepts of order and human nature and confront the ultimate taboos - murder and cannibalism - in order to survive..."

The production features designs by Phil Lindley, sound by Angus MacRae and lighting by David Howe.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
