The Effect by Lucy Prebble at at National Theatre

Headlong and the National Theatre presents The Effect, a new play by Lucy Prebble, at the Cottesloe, NT opening 13 Nov 2012, following previews from 6 Nov - running to 23 Feb 2013. (Public booking opens 23 Sep 2012)

The cast is Billie Piper, Tom Goodman-Hill, Anastasia Hille, Jonjo O'Neill.

Directed by Rupert Goold, the play explores questions of sanity, neurology and the limits of medicine.

It has designs by Miriam Buether, lighting by Jon Clark , sound by Christopher Shutt .

Billie Piper's stage credits include Reasons to be Pretty (Almeida) and Treats (Garrick). Her TV credits include Rose Tyler in Doctor Who.

Tom Goodman-Hill's stage credits include Earthquakes in London (National and Headlong), ENRON (Headlong/CFT/Royal Court). Other credits include Monty Python's Spamalot (Palace).

Anastasia Hille's stage credits for the National include Women of Troy, Waves, A Dream Play and The Oresteia. Other credits include Forty Winks (Royal Court), The Dark (Donmar).

Jonjo O'Neill's is currently on stage as Richard III at the RSC. Other credits include 66 Books (Bush Theatre), Silence (RSC/Filter), Morte D'Arthur (RSC), Romeo and Juliet (RSC) and The Drunks (RSC).
