The Ghost Sonata at the Rose Playhouse, Bankside

Scrawny Cat Theatre Company will present The Ghost Sonata by August Strindberg, at the Rose Playhouse in Bankside, south London, from 4 to 28 August 2015.

The play, which is being presented in a new adaptation written specifically for the Rose, will be directed by Charlotte Ive.

Synopsis: "The past intrudes upon the present and the future is shaped by spectres. Memories mist at the edges, history haunts reality. The debts of the past must be repaid and its ghosts laid to rest."
