The Ovalhouse Spring Season - Feb to Mar 2014

The Ovalhouse Theatre in south London has announced its spring season Feb to Mar 2014, which includes:

The Secret Life of You and Me by Lowri Evans, from 11 to 15 Feb 2014. Produced by The Future. Part live performance, part art installation this show is a scrapbook of storytelling inspired by Lowri's experience of working with elderly people with diminishing memory and partly by a love affair which spanned the UK and Brazil.

Our Big Land original Romany music and songs by Dan Allum, from 18 Feb to 8 Mar 2014. Produced by Romany Theatre Company. When Sophie Kaylor, a Gadje house dweller, marries Roman Farr, a Romany Gypsy and moves into his community, the signs appear ominous ... This play has the culture clash between Romany and non Romany communities at its core. Movement and traditional Romany music are set against gritty realism to transport us to a unique and misunderstood world.
