Theatrical honours in QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY HONOURS LIST 2008 include Actors Janet Mcteer is awarded an OBE, Chiwetel Ejiofor OBE, and Don Warrington MBE; Playwrights Tanika Gupta becomes a MBE, and Roy Williams OBE.

Janet Mcteer's London stage credits include "God of Carnage" at the Gielgud in 2008; "Mary Stuart" at the Donmar Warehouse and Apollo in 2005; "The Duchess of Malfi" at the Lyttelton, NT in 2003"; "Taming of the Shrew" at the Shakespeare Globe in 2003; A Doll's House" at the Playhouse in 1996, "Simpatico" at the Royal Court Downstairs in 1995.

Chiwetel Ejiofor's London stage credits include "Othello" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2007; "The Seagull" at the Royal Court in 2007; "The Vortex" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2002"; "Blue/Orange" at the Cottesloe, NT 2000 & Duchess in 2001; "Romeo & Juliet" at the Olivier, NT in 2000.

Don Warrington's London stage credits include "Statement of Regret" at the Cottesloe, NT in 2007; "Elmina's Kitchen" at the Garrick in 2005. He is best known for 1970s TV sitcom "Rising Damp".
