Tickets now on sale for West End transfer of Dear Evan Hansen
Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming London transfer of Dear Evan Hansen, which is set to premiere in the West End this autumn.
With music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the show tells the story of a high school boy looking for a way to connect with his fellow classmates. It features the songs "Anybody Have a Map?", "Sincerely, Me", "You Will Be Found" and "Waving Through a Window".
The musical was a huge success when it opened on Broadway, when it won six Tony Awards including best new musical, as well as the original cast recording, led by actor Ben Platt.
Dear Evan Hansen transfers to the Noel Coward Theatre from 27th October, with an official opening night on 19th November. Dear Evan Hansen tickets are on sale now.
Casting for the production is yet to be announced, however, producers have previously revealed they are looking for a British actor to play Evan, and open auditions for the production - which features a cast of eight - took place in London earlier this year.
The production is directed by Michael Greif, and features costume designs by Emily Rebholz, scenic design by David Korins, projection design by Peter Nigrini, lighting design by Japhy Weideman, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg. Music supervision, orchestrations and additional arrangements are by Alex Lacamoire.
