Tina: The Tina Turner Musical tells the electrifying story of how a young Tennessee woman named Anna Mae Bullock became Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock and Roll. Her story — including how she got her big break with her once-husband Ike Turner and reinvented herself as a solo artist later in life after their split — is set to all her greatest hits, including "Proud Mary," "The Best," and "What's Love Got to Do With It?"

The show has run at the Aldwych since 2018. Phyllida Lloyd directs, and the book is written by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins.
