Tom Stoppard's"Rock N' Roll" confirms transfer to Duke of York's 22 July 2006

Rock 'n' Roll, by Tom Stoppard, confirms transfer from Royal Court to Duke of York's Theatre 22 July to 24 Sep 2006 .

Directed by Trevor Nunn, the play features: Brian Cox, Sinead Cusack , Rufus Sewell , Nicole Ansari, Louise Bangay, Anthony Calf, Martin Chamberlain, Miranda Colchester, Alice Eve, Edward Hogg, Peter Sullivan

The west end transfer is produced by Sonia Friedman.

Designed by Robert Jones, lighting by Howard Harrison, costumes by Emma Ryott, sound by Ian Dickinson.

Rock 'n' Roll spans the years from 1968 to 1990 from the double perspective of Prague, where a rock'n'roll band comes to symbolise resistance to the Communist regime, and of Cambridge where the verities of love and death are shaping the lives of three generations in the family of a Marxist philosopher.

Rock 'n' Roll is at the Royal Court Theatre from 3 July to 15 July - before it transfers to the West End's Duke of York's Theatre.
